52Why I Cross Sticth
I started cross stitching when I found out I expecting my first grandchild! I am not an artistic person. and I certainly can not sew.My mom could sew,crochet,knit all sorts of things,but not me.So I wasn`t too sure if I could cross stitch,well I figured if I could make an x I could do. I was off work due to surgery so I had time to get started,My first quilt was a one for alphabet s for my grandson who was born on December 14,2004. After that I got hooked on cross stitching,I enjoy the pleasure of watching something I am doing take on a new life.Not that I am expert or anything cause I am not,but I am learning,now I am working on a Butterfly quilt.I get bored if I have a lot of time on my hands,and there`s not a lot of things I can do because my right hand is messed up,so I am glad to find a craft that I can do.
my supplies
The place were I get my supplies is Jo Ann`s, they have a variety of cross stitch projects that I can order on line.When I need more tread I go to my nearest Hobby Lobby to get my thread, I can`t do counted cross stitch so I only do the printed ones.But I enjoy what I do.

Bless you sister. I do pray this finds you well and cross stitching away. God has Blessed you with a talent. Never say you can not, because you can!! All things are possible with God. I am sure you have many more wonderful talents, just keep discovering. I had my first grandson September 29, 2010 My second grandson is due September 29, 2011 My youngest daughter had her baby then my oldest daughter is having her baby boy. I love being a Nana It is simply a God sent and Bliss. It is much easier then motherhood ever was. I think it is a gift from God for surviving motherhood. JK. Love n Hugs
